Returning Member - Good to be Back

I'm a returning member from the Dallas area and glad to be back.

I am the 2nd owner of a completely original 1972 C-10 Cheyenne 8' with the 402BB/400TH and 108,000 miles. The first owner bought it new when he was 16. I worked for him when in high school through my first two years of college. He let trusted hands drive it as a parts runner.

He reached out to me in 2004 saying he was retiring and wanted to sell it to someone he knew loved it and would take care of it. I drove it for 2 years and stored it once it was apparent it needed a total drive train rebuild. It's been in storage for 20 years and last Thursday it went to a builder for restoration. I'm very excited to have it back on the road.

I also owned a 71 2WD Blazer. It was a project truck I put together from two donors. I sold it in 2006 and I have a ton of new and used parts I took out of storage with the Cheyenne.

Glad to be back in the community as I will have a few questions on build advice and I also want to provide a home for these parts.
