Re: WTB Full Wheel Cover/s

they're out there. I suggest checking eBay and don't rule out the non-blue bowtie (the ones with the yellow). This is what's on my truck, but these were made this way, having purchased them with the yellow bowtie. You might have found out, these caps are prone to pitting and corrosion in that centermost area around the bowtie, and the next further out rim is usually dinged up from rocks. I'd recommend looking for very nice yellow bowtie caps by inspecting that further out rim from the bowtie and all the other factors, then plan a day of transforming them to what you see in my pix. The main reason I went with these, is the later model with the yellow have black paint to protect that notorious area for pitting in the very center. Underneath you find what you see in my pix...beautiful preserved brilliance. to get there, you spray/soak that center area with any oven cleaner then use a small brass brush to scrub all the yellow paint from those crevices. you can further use some 0000 steel wool, then mask things off and paint in the black and the new blue for the bowtie. ***warning - there are two types of yellow caps, the newest ones out there have a flat center around the bowtie, and not concave like most.
