Saturday we visited with the guy that owned the '37 Chevy coupe parked next to my daughters truck a couple different times. And then again on Sunday. He was very interesting. He comes to the US from Australia a couple times a year for a few months at a time. He keeps his '37 in California...We never got a chance to talk to who ever owned the '69 or '70 Stepside parked next to her, they came and went while we were out walking the fairgrounds.

There were some boys driving these remote controlled trucks around on Friday. I got a picture of the Blazer next to mine.

We spent the last couple of weeks getting ready for some local shows. My Daughter now knows how to use a polisher to compound and how to hand wax her truck . I have done both my Suburban and my Blazer.

I compounded and waxed the paint and the used boiled linseed oil and acetone mix to wipe down the hood and weathered sections of my Blazer prior to last weekends Car Show. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the results.

My '67 Stepside was stripped down to be body swapped onto a Tahoe chassis by the guy I sold it to. So I bought back what he didn't use. I went out and found another cab and bed and used alot of parts I already had to build another shortbed pickup. Bed needs some help but it's better than nothing.
