Old Air AC

All,

Have any of you painted your Old Air AC vent covers and has the paint held up well?

My painter is hesitant on painting the plastic saying he has had problems
in the past with the paint holding up well on that plastic.

I wonder if ya'll have any experience with painting yours?

Again Thanks for your input,
JDarby

Re: Old Air AC

The few times I've painted plastic parts, I've always used an adhesion promotor.

My go-to aerosol paints/products are SEM

It is really important to get whatever they use as a mold release off of the plastic parts before applying the adhesion promoter
