Re: 72 2500 with rr leaf springs???
You don’t specify Chevy or GMC. In my experience, the bulk of GMC trucks were equipped with leaf springs and the bulk of Chevrolets were coil spring.
Is leaf springs an option on the SPID?

Re: 72 2500 with rr leaf springs???
I have a 2500 aka C20 pickup with rear leaf springs. The coils normally came in the 1/2 version C10 vs the 3/4 ton version C20.
Realize that with making millons of trucks the factory did what ever it takes to make production and call it what they wanted. I bought 3/4 rear coil spring for My 1/2 ton C10 |

Re: 72 2500 with rr leaf springs???
K20 or C20? K20's all had rear leaf springs standard, C20's were coil springs as standard equipment and leaf springs were optional.

Re: 72 2500 with rr leaf springs???
$200-300?
If the front disk brakes are intact and/or it has posi, maybe more. Not much of a market for C20 frames.

Re: 72 2500 with rr leaf springs???
If it has front disk brakes you can get a fair bit for thoses as people want them, same with the powersteering.
If you post a picture then we could all see it. Just save on google photos and then copy the link and post it with the picture icon. |

You live in the land of snow and salt. It's hard to say, but I bet someone will give you $100-$200 for them. A new kit cost around $700 for all new.

Re: 72 2500 with rr leaf springs???
Well if you are selling it post it on marketplace for 400 and the first guy who pulls up pulling his trailer and holds out cash green money gets to haul it home if he makes a legit offer.
At my house your bargaining power goes up if you pull in with your truck or truck and trailer and have ready cash then and there. I don't do be backs. The leaf springs were a no charge option on 72 C 20 camper specials. The leaf spring rear should be a Dana 60 with 4.11 gears.

Re: 72 2500 with rr leaf springs???
I've driven coil spring C 20's in the past but my 71 GMC 2500 has leaf springs and I like it far better personally.
