About 30 years ago, I added a power brake booster to a '67 C/10 I used to own that up to that point had manual brakes. I simply removed the clamp that secured the lines to the frame and bent the lines forward enough to make room for the booster and firewall attachment brackets. I'm not saying it was the best or cleanest way to do it, but it worked. I drove that truck for another eight years after that without incident.
