Rear Brake Line / Where can I get one ? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 2wd C10 72 Burb with a 12 bolt rear. When I changed wheel cylinders on the rear brakes I messed up the passenger side rear brake line. It is a steel brake line that goes from just above the differential to the passenger side rear wheel cylinder (drum brakes). Need a new one. Does anyone know where I can get a new pre-made brake line. Ricks, Impala Bobs, or etc...??? Also, is it the same as the brake line for a truck of the same year with the 12 bolt rear?

You have options. If you don't care about the spring stone guards like the orig. line had, you can bend a pre-cut and flared line of the same length from a auto parts store, and bend it yourself (done that when in a similar situation... or you can order one from one of the vendors listed on the opening page of this board. I bought my lines from here www.rightstuffdetailing.com

I checked out the link that you guys sent me and the company looks like they do great work. Their web-site catalog however does not show truck applications or applications for a 1972. I am going to call them on Tuesday. I did find a company that sells a rear passenger side axle brake line for a 72 C10 Pickup. If anyone out there has a 72 C10 pickup with a 12 bolt rear could you take a digital picture of the passenger rear axle brake line that goes from just above the differential to the wheel cylinder. I want to see if it is the same as my Suburban.

I have a 70 truck & 71 Burb and they are the same.
