got a stupid ques

I bought a k5 blazer today and the rearend doesn't look like my truck rearend are they supposed to be the same or are they different? (leaf spring) also what other year model rearends will fit under our trucks/blazers?

As far as I know they should be the same rearend as the trucks.

what year is your k5? They all have leaf springs in front and rear.
All 1/2(10 bolt, 12 bolt) ton and 3/4(14 bolt) ton rear ends will bolt right up 70-80's. If you want a 1ton(14 bolt) rear end, you'll have to relocate the spring mounts on the axle.

I think this might be a ford 9 inch rearend I bought the blazer and someone had made it into a 2wd with leaf in the back and at some point raced it because it has been tubed it might fix it back right or I might fix it with wide tires but the main thing was the rearend didn't look like it was orginal thanks for your help
