TH350 Module

How much performance would adjusting the module give me in shifts?

How was it, clockwise = firmer?

The modulator valve will adjust the shift points up or down. Turning the screw in (cw) will make it wait longer to shift, turning it out (ccw) will shift sooner. I have an adjustable modulator valve on my th400. I found that the more I turned it in the higher the shift points, but this wasn't good for around town. You had to really get on it just to get it to shift if you didn't get on it, it would been revving pretty good getting lots of unwanted attention. I didn't notice a firmer shift but I have a shiftkit. All I can say is experiment with it and see what it does for you. I would move about 1/2 increments and see what it does. I dunno if you have ever had the modulator vacuum line come off. But that is what is like with the screw turned in all the way (cw). It wont shift unless the rpms are up like near WOT and passing gear all at the same time.

Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a couple of tests.
