Dash pad dated

I just pulled the dash pad yesterday and it was sitting by the trash can. I noticed a tag stuck to the back side, some was tore off, but it said "D. _ C. Acceptance, Date 6/10/71, By _______" and it was scribbled with a chalk or something. I lost my buildsheet years ago because I had no idea it existed so I'm kind of happy to come across this. I hadn't seen past posts mentioning this so thought I'd share.

I just ordered some Sonic Turbos to replace the rusty ones I blew apart last summer and also ordered an H pipe kit. Dash pad will get ordered this week. Then its time to fix the heater controls, recover the door panels, order carpet and put the inerds back together. I'm sick of looking at it sitting in the garage with my son (8 yrs old) continually asking to "Can we take it out Dad? I want to go for a ride."

Me too son, me too.

haha! I still hang out with my old man, and I just turned 18 yesterday. Its surprising how much you can findout about your car from your father. Considering he's had the same cars back when they were new and done the same stupid stuff that you're doing now.

My oldest Son turns 18 on the 16th of this month( I'm only 39 so I don't feel too old yet). There's noone else I would rather hang out with than him. I can't wait till he's 21. Then, the real fun starts.

I pulled the dash pad out of a Baltimore plant truck and it had a sticker in there with the info you describe. I posted a pic, but I didn't save it though.
