are theses heads any good?

3951598 casting numbers on the heads are they any good ive got the heads and the whole block from oil pan to carb is it worth a build ?

Probably not bad for a stock type engine thats used for work or daily driver, not great for racing and high power potential. Get some good aftermarket cast irton heads or if you can spend a bit more, some aluminum heads. You won't get the performance out of stock heads without costing more than a new aftermarket performance head. If you just want a stock type engine and performance, they will be ok with a valve job, making sure the guides are good, and new seals. New valve springs would be a good idea especially if you get a cam that has more lift/duration than stock.

oh ic Thanks guys this engine was pulled out of my bros 1970 monte carlo it would smoke both tires with this engine Riddla
