PARTS RUN? L.A. to Sac in the next few weeks/months?

Just wondering if anyone is coming up from LA in the next few weeks or months who might be able to stuff a tailgate in with their load. Here's the deal...

My truck's original owner is a gentleman who's health is failing down in SOcal. The tailgate for my truck is still down there with him. His son saw it last week during a visit down there. He'd NEVER be able to package up, nor probably even pick up the tailgate to prep it for delivery to me. The son (who I got the truck from) lives near me. SO... I want it, but getting it does not seem too easy.

If on one else can grab it for me, I could potentially do a parts run down there myself, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Any ideas?

just drive down there on the weeknd. should be able to make it there and back before monday.

Yeah, I know this is an option. Couple years ago I took a run down to Beverly Hills to pick up a motorcycle. Left after work on Friday, picked it up Saturday morning and was home in the afternoon. Just really busy this year with all the kids in school and all involved in something after school, soccer, volleyball, scouts, coaching etc...

With them in focus don't see that opportunity, at least not for a few months. Thanks for the (get off your keister) encouragement though!

Jeff, If you can find someone to take it to Southwest Airlines Cargo LAX for you, I can have it flown up. Probably cost ya around $60. Let me know.
