HOw do I pull the key out?

How do I go about pulling the key out of a 68 ignition? I heard you turn the key, stick a paper clip in the little hole or something. we are changing out cabs and need to get this out. Also. What if you don't have the keys? Thanks guys.

Actually, this was in the frequently asked question section. I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Basically you put the key in, turn it to the left (counter clock wise), put the paperclip in and turn to the right. Mine needed quite a bit of jiggling.

Some of the 68 didn't have the acc position to the left. In that case, just insert the paper clip and start wigglin and jigglin the key to the left as you pull on it. If your key comes out with the ignition switch in the on position (like many do) then it'll be a little more interesting. (ask Jewels)
