O/T 1961 Impala Bubbletop-Rebuilt 348-FS
I have a rebuilt 348 for sale in New Mexico. It comes with a tri-power intake, and a 4-bbl intake, chrome valve covers. I don't have carburators, but it is completely rebuilt by a certified mechanic in Texas. I bought the engine from a Dr. in NM whom had to get rid of it for personal reasons a couple years ago, and now personal reasons have me selling it. It's been in my garage since I got it. Apparently it came off of a low miles wrecked car and it was completely gone through. I have a box of extra parts which includes a water pump-core for rebuilding, several brackets, dipstick, and misc stuff. I will take $1500 for the engine.
Also I have a 61 Bubbletop Project car which I have advertised locally to go with the engine for $5000 as a package, but I’ve just been getting broke tire kickers as response. I will sell it separate, or as a package. The car is a complete project needing very minimal parts, but needs complete restoration. The body with the exception of the lower rear quarters, and rocker panels, is in great shape. The floors are 95% solid. The glass is good except for the windshield, and all the moldings are there. The body of the car has been stripped to metal, and PPG epoxy primered white. Some of the aluminum moldings need to get repaired or replaced. I have an extra front bumper, left fender, grille, frame, and chasis parts. The seats are all there, steering wheel, everything. Also a rebuildable PG trans. The car has been in my family since new. This is a great hard-to-find project bubbletop package at a super deal! |

I have pics of the engine. I can get pics of the car, but I'll have to have someone post them or email them to you cuz the pics from my dig camera just won't load on this site. I'll try and get some tonight.
