WTS: 71 Chev pickup, Factory auto, big block, a/c & more...
This is a rare find for the person looking for an old pickup to restore. This truck is as nice & original as your going to find, especially w/ this many options. This is truck has 73,600 ORIGINAL MILES w/ a factory BIG Block engine, automatic trans, positive traction rear end, factory ICE COLD A/C, power steering , power disc brakes & MORE !!!
This is the original paint, interior, wood in the bed ect..... It stared & spent all of it's life (up to a couple years ago) in Iowa. It was a one owner (again up to a couple years ago) when it's original owner died & the truck was sold by the estate. It appears that it was undercoated when it was new as apparent by the solid body. The only rust is on the right inner fender under the battery & the bottom of the front cab supports, the cab is solid, & a little staring on the left rocker panel (follow link below for lats of good pics). Any other rust is apparent in the pictures & is only surface related. EVERYTHING works except for the original AM radio, the A/C is ICE Cold & all original. The interior is all original & in excellent condition except for the carpet which is cheap to replace. The wood in the bed is original & in great, solid condition, probably due to the topper being on the truck most of it's life. The original stainless steel mirrors were removed & replaced at some point but the original stainless camper mirrors are included & pictured at the bottom of this page. Also included is the original owners manuals & original check sheet dated & signed the day the truck was picked up at the dealer in 1971. This truck also has a new set of dual exhaust & WV state inspection. It is in fine mechanical shape & ready to drive for you to drive it home anywhere in the country. I am located in Hurricane, WV which is approx 25 miles west of Charleston on I-64. Go here for lots of good pics http://www.dndguns.com/71_chevy.htm You can call me @ 304-415-8939 or send me an email if you have any questions. Price is $4500.00 & is Not Negotiable. |

Rare find, if that truck was here I would buy it right now. Way too cheap a price IMO. I would say it would bring more at auction.

No problem
The guy came later today & looked at the truck. I told him if you didn't want it he could have it. I called him & he said he would be here tomorrow afternoon to pick it up.
Thanks, George |
