panel fuse question
On both my '70 and '72 the ammeter and temp guages do not work. Since there is a seperate temp. guage I just thought they were broke. When checking the fuse block on the Blazer because the blinker lights went out, the fuse marked pnl in the upper right corner was the only fuse that did not get power whether the was on or off. Should this have power and would this let me use my stock guages? Oh, the gas gages in both vehicles and dash lights all work.

Yes, look along either side on the inner fenders in the harness, there will be 2 small black inline fuses. Odds are, they are blown.
The fuse that you were tasting will be hot as soon as you turn on the parking lights/headlights. |

Do you mean the fusible links that come off the block located on the fender by the battery or is there another fuse I either don't have or just don't know about?

Further back...about 1/2 way from the front of the fender to the back. You may have to dig into the harness a little bit.

Nope...no life at all.
No wife anymore either...many think that the 24K had something to do with it...but it was a minimal role in the whole thing. I just like learning about these trucks, and helping other ppl. it's a great place to pick up chicks too. |
