Anyone know anything about this truck?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...489480757&rd=1 It makes me nervous to see something being run hard in the mud when I'm looking to buy...TO know its done is enough but to show it in pics is like trying to sell a car without washing it etc. but it cleans up nice...I'm color blind for blues so blue and purple get mixed up...I was ragged for a long time about some purple stuff I bought and wore so I guess I'm warped for life now so I have to ask my wife what color it is and I won't drive a purple truck or wear anything purple. (I can't tell if that is yellow/purple or yellow/blue) I think the fenders are trimmed too which may look funny if it ever went back to stock which is where ultimately my future blazer will go along. Any thoughts about this truck? Thanks JT PS I've posted enough tonight especially for someone w/out a blazer its killing me all these temptations I need to hit the books a little to ease my guilty conscious. |

No info on that particular blazer but if you eventually want to go 'stock' with your future blazer your better off to start with something stock.
A big part of these trucks is dealing with (fixing) the previous owners work/modifications. You'd be saving yourself allot of time, money and effort just by getting something that's close to stock to begin with. Just my 2-cents.

I would shy away from this one. Anyone who plays in the mud knows you have to be meticulous about cleaning your components, inside and out. You have no way of knowing if proper maintenance has been performed and risk driveline failure if not. Plus, running in the mud with big tires and 1/2 ton diffs tends to wear parts out as well.
If you want stock, hold off for stock. When you buy a modified vehicle you are paying for at least some of those modifications. Why pay for them if you don't want em in the first place? I can appreciate the picures posed on the rocks, I think that can help sell this thing. However, the pictures in the mud probably hurt the sale more than the rocks help it. IMOP.

these guys ^ are right. Dont get something that big, if you want it closer to stock, and plan on making it that way.
What kinda' roll bar is that too?? Anybody know? Also, how much light ya think those lights ontop 'the roll bar throw? Close to none? They look sick, but when it comes to functionality? |

that much mud and no inner fenders? Personally, it looks like a lot of trouble.
