FS-Van Tilt-DFW

I have a van tilt from an '81 Chevy van that I bought off of E-Bay several months ago. I won't be needing it any more , so I will post it here to see if anyone wants it.

The column comes with all the levers (tilt/turn signal with cruise and shifter). The shifter has some rust on it, but doesn't look too bad. I cleaned the rust off my non-tilt lever with fine scoth-brite and shot it with clear and it looked fine. It will need to be repainted and the little white gear position indicator is missing. I had checked on this indicator in some catalogs that I have and they go for about $6. The neutral/safety switch is on the column, but will have to be relocated closer to the firewall.

That's all I can think of for now. I will try to get some pics posted later this afternoon. I paid $125, so that is what I am asking, $125 + shipping from 76102, or pick up locally in Fort Worth.

Here are some pics. I plan to remove the steering wheel to save on shipping, unless you want to pay for the additional shipping charges. I do not have the horn button.

Well, over 80 "looks" and not even a comment! Am I asking too much?
If I were to sand it down, primer, paint it with semi-gloss rattle can black, relocate the NS switch and add the little white pointer, how much do you think I could get then? I have all the threads and a magazine article for relocating the NS switch and installing in our trucks that I will e-mail to the "lucky buyer"!

If you cleaned it up and did the work to relocate the switch it might could get $125.

I've witnessed them go on ebay for $150 in nice shape. Putting it in "bolt in" condition will definitely help you cause. Good luck.
