anybody have selectro hubs

Im trying to remove a axle out of a spare rear i have. Done it a hundred times. But this thing has Selectro hubs on it, a big black knob made out of aluminum. I got the knob removed. And the big snap ring. And the small snap ring off the end of the stub axle. But i cant get the mating aluminum part for the selectro hub to come out. And the gear on the stub axle woulnt come off either. PB blaster made everything move nicely. but thats it.
Am i missing something? I done broke the aluminum piece by prying on it!!
Thanks,
Randy

My Selectros are external drive so they are a 1 peice unit, all you do is remove the 8 drive bolts and pull them out. Yours will be internal drive and it sounds like you have done everything necessary to remove them but sometimes they can be stuborn, are they stoping at the groove for the snap ring on the stubshaft? sometimes the splines get burrs and the internal hub wont slide past them, if so try a small file to deburr them. If this is an open knuckle axle there may be enough slop in the axle u joint and stub to push the axleshaft inn towards the center section and that will usually pop the hub out. Hope this helps.

I just reread your post and your hubs may be different than I am thinking, can you post some pics?

Have them on my 71, have had no problem removing, just did the bearings 2 weeks ago. No problems. If I remember you remove the 6 little screws(3 phillips and 3 torx) the take the handle off w/ the spring and cam piece then remove the snap ring and 6 bolts holding the body on and it should slide off, coupler and body.
