Longhorn with Tool Box

Local junkyard(treasure emporium) has a Longhorn with a factory toolbox and auxillary tanks. The truck was a BB w/AC and T400. The engine is long gone along with all the brackets and A/C. The glove box has been changed out so you can"t really tell what options it had originally. I noticed the 400 emblems on the fenders hence big block. Also saw evidence where the Aux. Batt. box had been mounted on the core support. No tilt, tach, or AM/FM.

My question is about athe rarity of a longhorn with tool box - How Many?? and tool box with wood floor- Available??

The box is in what I would call as ABOVE AVERAGE condition at first glance. The Aux, Tanks are missing as only the grommets are present in the add-on portion of the bed.

Is anyone interested? The owner was off when I was there so did not ask about price because I get a better price from him. I can go back and get pictures for those who want. Same yard had a 68 shortstep bed w/fendersand no tire cutout. Value? and Demand? Item #3 of interest was a 68 GMC full gauge(no tach) instument cluster in Red as GMC did color coordination. This truck had a deep red interior almost burgunday. Same thing - is anybody interested?

I have no desire for a Longhorn or a Stepside but will if someone is interested.

All longhorns had wood floors, but the toolbox bedside for them is especially rare. Did it still have the door intact? that seems to be the part that always rusts out.

I think 2% of trucks had the tool box.

ooh, oooh I need pics. I just made a post for this very item. Mine is in horrible condition. My Longhorn has the tool box.... or what's left of it. I would be interested in the whole bed if it's decent/ repairable.

Longhornman, 2% of trucks, or longhorns had toolboxes? Just wondering, cuz i have a cheyenne longhorn with the toolbox at my storage. It is in bad shape, but the bed is salvageable.

trucks.
It actually seems that more than 2% of longhorns had it. (again...SEEMS) Considering the camper that the Longhorn was designed for took the whole bed and then some, under bed storage would make sense.
