thats what i was affraid of. but it looks like all i would have to do is replace the fuel gauge and you would never tell the differance. on normal speed warning dashes is thes a klight on the speedometer and an idiot light on the fuel gauge or just one or the other. also can the needles be removed from the fuel gauge without damage

On trucks with tandem axles, you have the option of locking both axles together, so that all eight tires turn in unison. I have had to do that, and when you need it, it's a great thing to have. We used to call them "Twin Screws", whether it was correct or not. When you have a load and you are trying to pull out of a pit, sometimes you needed to "lock them in". They didn't go around corners too good, though, when locked. In fact. when you got on hard pavement, you had better unlock 'em!! It's been 30 years since I drove a dump truck, so my senior moments are coming more often.

The engine overspeed warning light is for governed engines and warns you when the RPM's are close to the limit, or over it.

The dash would be from an ME-50, ME-60 series, or JM-80 series.

Swap the gas gauge with a light duty trucks gas gauge and your set to go if you have the correct light duty bezel also.

I have a speed warning dash. There are two needles on the speedo. An orange one that tells the speed you are travelling and a white needle that you set with a small knob on the face of the instrument cluster. Rotate the white dial to the desired speed. If the orange needle passes it, a buzzer sounds off to alert the driver. No lights go off. I think speed warning was an option from 1967 to 1970. They are kind of hard to find.
