PST or GM motor mounts?

Everything on my truck is polygraphite except the 4-link/panhard bar. How would PST units compare to GM mounts? More vibration or what? Thanks for any advice.

I dunno about GM ones..put I have a set of Energy Suspension Polyurethane motor mounts.

Did you notice a difference between the original and polyurethane units, Tim?

I have energy suspension poly engine and tranny mounts on my S10. When the a/c is on, or its idling in gear it is trying to shake itself to death. I will never have another set of poly engine mounts. I can only imagine how bad it would be if you had a good sized cam. Its really annoying, I want to change it back to rubber, but dont have the time or $$ as I have about $150 in these. They required custom made frame pads.

I have Energy Suspension engine and tranny mounts in my 85. All I noticed was more vibration. When at idle you can feel the engine running but it doesn't shake itself to death by no means and I have a Comp XE268 cam.

i have energy suspension engine mounts and the stock rubber tranny mount(for now). it does rock back and forth a little bit(tiny tiny bit). but i like it

I was always told, that if you run poly engine mounts, you MUST run a rubber tranny mount, or else SOMEWHERE SOMETHING will crack/break. I have more vibration than rubber, I'll say that..but it's not bad.

I run energy suspension polyurethane motor/spring/trans/body/swaybar etc etc and yes you will notice more vibration! Would I do urethane motor mounts again? probably.

If youre looking for ultra comfort in your vehicle, Id go rubber. just my 2 cents

Thanks for the input, everyone. Looks like I'll be purchasing PST motor mounts soon.

to stiff for a truck that you would drive a lot(for most people anyways)
