Questions about the Front Clip
I just bought this 1967( says the VIN #) of some guy the other day and was curious as to the year of the front clip that is on it because I am almost positive its not the original.

69 or 70
the 70 has step's in the inner grill when you rub your hand across it...the 69 is smooth...

Definetley not original, if the truck is a 67 it's kinda rare because it appears you have a large back window (small window being standard in 67) I would suggest a little farther investigation. Anywho, Welcome to the board from Texas!

I have checked the vin number in several locations all they all say 67.
I can always get in touch with the original owner and bug the hell out of him until he gives me the information, but that would be a large effort.

Finally found out about my truck. It is an original 67 with the large back window option. The fenders hood and grill were replace somewhere along the way with that of a 69.
