Can you use 67-72 V-8 mounts on a 98 vortec? Also are the exhuast manifolds simalar. I have a set of headers for my 68 and was wondering if they would bolt up

98's are the same, I think 99's are the new style block and won't bolt in. Exhaust is the same and works with your headers

Yes, you can use your mounts. The exhaust manifolds are very different, but the head exhaust ports are the same, so you can use your headers. You could use the exhaust manifolds from the Vortec I think, but you'd have to plug a couple of unused ports.
