Tim,

what size are your tires? I have 27" tires (255/50R17), 2.5" spindles and 1.5" coils. I have exactly 5.75" at the crossmember also. Besides the fact of this measurement, your truck looks more like 4" in front instead of 5. IMO, there is no way your truck is riding at 5" in the front.

I wanted to be pretty precise on my drop. This is why I chose to go with a name brand maker of my components. You get what you pay for is what I always say.

i've got western chassis 2.5" spindles and western chassis 1.5" coils, with 28" tall tires (275/60/15's)

tim has 255/55/17's (about 28" tall)

i guess i should note also, my truck was a tad bit lower in the front with the old engine.

While I agree 100%, Ground Force is a quality name. Either way, something isn't right here.

I agree with you totally. But the way I wanted mine to sit, was RIGHT at the top of my 28" tires, and that's where it's at. I COULD be lower, sure, but then again, I could also worry about my control arms (I don't). You guys also have to remember, I have the PST Front Kit, as well as the PST Core Support/Cab mounts, AS WELL as a lighter front end than most of you guys. (No Sway Bar, No Power Anything) All in all, I'm happy with the results, and that's all that matters.

If your happy, that's all that matters.

Are you going to C-notch the frame and add 2" shackles?

I MIGHT add shackles, after the fuel cell is in, I just wanna see where the truck sits. I don't need to C-Notch it thoug, as it sits, I have a CLEAR 4" of space between the axle & frame. (Unloaded though)

The springs are installed correctly, as best as I can get them.
No, I didn't REMOVE the swaybar, my truck never came with one, and I have power steering, I meant like no AC, power brakes/windows/doors. Maybe the springs need to "settle"?

You mean to tell me you drive around without windows and doors?

That stuff wont make the truck wiegh no more or less than 100 pounds.

The ac power brakes etc.

Hell, almost! There's no door panels basically. Just the stock THIN piece of plastic junk. There's also no insulation under the carpet, haha.

My 1980 Blazer 2wd is down 5.5 in front and looks like Timspeed's. 3" DJM Spindles and 2.5 drop springs. My LCA's are real low but have not hit yet.
