Guage problems

When I put in my tach cluster a while back two of the guages don't work. The Temp and Gas guage don't work. I got the guages out of another truck and they worked in there. Also the gas guage is out of my old cluster and it worked fine before. When I put it in I also made sure all the bulbs were good and I think two of them aren't working. What could be wrong? is the printed circuit shot? it looked fine. I am also getting no power to the gas guage itself and when I ground out the temp guage it goes way over to hot

sounds like the temp gauge is ok if it pegs hot when grounded.... if you grounded it using the sender wire where it clips to the sender, then you need to start back tracking to the cluster.... most likely your problems are either where the harness plugs into the cluster, or a problem with the printed circuit...
