Unhappy The Blazer has been sold.

It was harder than I thought seeing the Woody being driven away from me for good....but it does have a new (and good) home....and I now have some much needed cash to spend on Yeller.

A gentleman from Wisconsin purchased it for a father/son project. It will be getting a complete rebuild and will live to see many many more years on the road. I think I also led him to our 73-87 addiction, and I am pretty sure he will be visiting this site as well as Chris' looking for help, support, and parts.

Here is the last pic I took of it, as it was being driven away by its new owner. Just thought I would share.

Sorry to hear about that but look at it this way- Like you said it has a good home and the $$$ for the Woody will go towards Yeller getting back on the road after too long of a hibernation.

I know you hated to sell it, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. As you say, it has a good home. Sounds like you don't have to worry about somebody ruining it.

Now let's see if we can't get yeller back on the road.

I agree with all of you, it will work out just fine. I now have all the money I need to finish the body work and paint on Yeller. All that is left is to purchase all the little things this winter, then hopefully go to town next spring/early summer and get it all buttoned up.

I called the new owner this afternoon to see if they made it home safely...and I was told the Blazer didn't miss a beat and everything went fine...in fact, he said he spent part of today just driving around in it.

One more thing, you should have seen his son look at this thing last night when they came to pick it up, it was like a kid at Christmas time...he was smiling ear to ear.

Now you can feel even better about the deal. You got some seat time in a cool ride, and passed it on to someone that's really going to enjoy it with his son....
