I am not sure what manual you have been reading but every chevy hinge from about '88 on were welded on and are a pain to replace. Hinge pin and bushings are the only other way the fix a sag, unless the hinge halves have been rubbing together for a long time without a bushiing in between them, then you will have to replace the hinge. I have worked at a GM dealer 15 years. You will need another set of hands to do a bushing/pin R&R unless you have a hydraulic jack with an beam attachment. L8R
