what's a 68 long bed frame worth?

hey,
well tommarow morning i am aquiring a complete 68 chevy and i'm wondering what the frame is worth. the guy i am buying the truck from spent a great deal of time and money sandblasting, epoxy coating and painting it and also got a rebuild kit for it. unfortunently i also have a rebuild kit and i have been working on a 71 frame for about a month getting it perfect so i can have it powder coated.

anyway long story short, what's it worth?

thanks,
ondrew

p.s. if you need a perfect 68 frame make me an offer i will have pictures tommarow evening.

Well, frames are funny. They are only worth anything to someone who needs it. Some people have very nice frames and can't get rid of them, others have no trouble. It's all about timing. I say, ask about $350-400 and go from there. I had to take a $200 hit on mine when I sold it, no one was looking at the time. Being a LWB frame, it will be slightly less desireable, but there is going to be a few LWB guys looking. Don't expect to sell it in a few days, you might have to hold onto it for a while. It should sell pretty good if it's like you say.

Good luck.
