Thanks Josh & Early Classic Enterprises !
I just want to thank a couple of people that helped me connect to a part that I believe would have been nearly impossible to find without this site.
I recently purchased a 1968 Suburban and am very pleased with it. But after reading the build sheet in the glovebox, I discovered that the original 1968 "Suburban only", bucket seats and console were missing and had been replaced with a bench seat. I then found that the console was really gonna be a hard part to get someone to give up due to the fact that the were a low production option. Had it not been for this forum and also pictures provided by Josh,I'm not sure that I would have ever made a connection for the console.Thats where Dave Clark, from "Early cCassic Enterprises" Saw my post and traded me for the standard pickup console. Even after offering cash along with my console, Dave wasn't looking for profit, just a fair exchange of parts. Many thanks to these fellows who just want to help out other people that they dont even know! John

Great story! Send the cash you were going to send to ECE to Josh. He can always use a donation. I've connected with a lot of honest people on this board.

You know, I have met many other great people as well on this site and had been meaning to do just that! It made me feel really good to do. Thanks for the nudge! John

Great news... I posted a pic for you in a thread of the console for subs...it was actually sent to me from CPNE... so it's a big circle pat on the back I guess.
I looked for years to try and find one....and if there are any more out there...let me know... I have regular a 67-68 bucket console for trade if need be. Rod pic of sub console in original olblue60 search for console thread here http://207.44.196.117/vboard/showthread.php3?t=111196 might as well put the pic here also.
