Wiring Change
Do I have to change the wiring harnass in the cab to go from warning lights to the factory gauges dash .The truck is a 72 gmc 1-ton?

Yup. You will fry the fuel guage and have real goofy dash lights if you try to just plg it in w/out mods. You can also fry the sending unit in the tank.

BEEN THERE DONE THAT HEY.Is hard to change the harnass in the dash to in stall the full gagues?I bought a 70 gmc 2500 yesterday that i could swap the wiring from what do i need to change?The 2500 is another parts truck

No idea. I totaled my only guage-less truck before I had a chance to get it right.
The funny thing is, I refuse to use the old stock guages...so now I have aftermarket ones in the stock bezel. |

Think if you got the proper circuit board for the dash and the right sending units it would be pretty easy with a factory wiring diagram. I managed to use the temp warning light in my dash AND the factory temp gauge. I got the light wired to the sender in the head and the gauge to the sender in the manifold.

You can move the wires in your loom plug and then add 2 new wires with 4amp inline fuses for the ameter to work. If you have any questions feel free to email me.
