Upper? Lower A-arm Help... - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Can anyone tell me what to torque the upper and lower A-arm nuts that hold the A-arms to the frame? I also would like to know how much to torque the upper ball joints. I have just about finished my frame. I will share some pics with you soon, hopefully. Thanks

70ft. lbs - upper control arm shaft nuts
45 ft. lbs.- lower control arm shaft U-bolt
50 ft. lbs plus additional torque to align cotter pin. Not to exceed 90 ft. lbs.- upper ball joint
All these torque spec's are for 1/2 ton trucks and taken out of the 1972 10-30 Series Truck Service Manual

where can you find a bolt that fits the nut on the lower a-arm?
