Grill
I think Goodmark is working on a 71/72 outer chrome grill. I saw the prototype on one of their employee's trucks. Looked pretty good.

Good question, I'd like to see a chromed 69-70 grill, thought of doing this myself. Only problem is to do it right would be around $1,000.

I just put my dad's grille and it looks damn near chromed. I had it professionally polished. All of the annodizing is off of it now.

If you chrome plated an outer grill, it would most likely not look good for long.
The first time you bumped it, the chrome would start to peel off because the aluminum underneath is so much softer than the chrome. In order for chrome to work well, it needs a good (more solid) foundation like a solid aluminum or sttel wheel for example. Our grills are too flimsy to be chromed. Just my opinion. It would look great though! Maybe the repro chrome ones will hold up well.
