Tilt column parts ?

Hi,
I have a 72 tilt column (Auto 3sp,van) in my blazer and I need help locating "inner"parts. At times when I shift it hangs up and something inside is slowly breaking apart. It is a white plastic that sometimes falls out in pieces. I need to rebuild it but have no clue about the inner parts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bret

In reality, these are so cheap in the junk yards, personally, I would just replace it with another one.

On a side not, do you realize that there is a piece missing under your dash? Directly under the steering column there is supposed to be a piece that has bumptops for the brake and clutch. This will keep your brake pedal from being so high, and also help prevent the brake light switch from getting broken.

Does your blazer actually have cruise controll, or is that left over from the van?

The only white plastic in the column that I can think of is the shift pointer.

If you will PM me your fax number, I will fax you a copy of the tilt schematic.
