Question Putting Dana 60 in my 68.....

I found a Dana 60 rear end with 3:54's in it out of a 72 3/4 ton. That'll be much better than the 4:56's that are in there now. Especially since i put a Muncie 4 speed in it. Since i don't need the old one, what should i do with it? The drums are good, along with everything else.

If you have the room, keep the drums and the center section. You will find someone in need of the drums and bearings(the real expensive parts to replace). Toss/recycle the rest.
