I know it has been a long time since I purchased one, but a decent original used to start at around the $200-250 mark. Good luck

Well I have seen them starting at $100 and going up to $300. I gave $100 to my Uncle-in-law for mine. I would have liked to pay less (offered him $75, but he won't budge), but knew it was worth that. He let have a Vacuume dash for $15 at the same time so I can't really complain....He had been setting on the tach dash for years hoping to restore a truck at his wrecking yard, but these trucks are still driven til they wont go any more around here in KY. When they are parked there's not much left of the cabs or any theing else. A lot of basic farm trucks full of rust......

These dashes have gone up in price as the popularity of these trucks have gone up. A lot more people know they can get big $ for anything special from these trucks.

What to offer for the dash?? First ask the seller to price it so as to not insult them with a low offer. Also check the tach to make sure it is for a V8 or 6 cyc. It should be marked on the back of it. Check the condition of the face plate and dash benzel, and price a new dash from one of the board venders. You may find you are willing to pay a little more for a shiney one.

I would have to know for a fact it worked to give $100. Probably wouldn't give that much at a swap meet. You can buy a Tachometer Conversion Kit for $229 and every thing is new.
