Truck Broke Down...at the wrecker's!

My wife couldn't do anything give me a sly grin when I told her where my '76 broke down...at the wrecker. She doesn't get why I need two trucks, and I don't get why I had to get rid of one so I only have two, but that's another story.

I finally found a tilt column for my '69 GMC and I was about to go load it up when the truck wouldn't start. Its usually hard starting, so I cranked it for about 5 seconds, let go, tried to crank it again, and nothing happened. The solenoid didn't even click. I've got lots of power to the starter, so I guess its either the solenoid or the starter itself. Anyway, funny story, thought I'd post it.

1979 Honda GL 1000 - retro touring at its best.

Past:
'05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner.
'94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm.
'79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350.
'76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod.
'68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect.
'59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said.

I just hate it when my truck screwz up. When it does I will do ANYTHING to hide it from the wife. She gets this "Why don't you buy a new truck" (use approriate voice overs) look. She'll never understand, and as a result, never cut me any slack either.
In her defence, I will admit to dumping more money in this truck than what a 5 year old truck is worth.
