I think Im going to bolt flatbar across the top of the spring for now. get spindles later.
I have a hydrolic ram bolted to the top of mine and u bolts on the bottom, but you could drill a hole and bolt a plate or washer to hold the spring in the cup/dowel at the top and U bolts on the bottom.

Thats pretty much what i have in mind Edit With the exception of a hydralic ram . but im going to use some flatbar so it will cover it perfect im gonna cut one using an old spring for marking it up then install one of these days.

Yes it was . I know most people think you hold heat to it till you like it ,Thats the wrong way. We put the heat to it and felt it start to lower ,removed the heat and bounced the truck to see how the spring would settle. We measured and if it wasnt enough we gave it the heat again till it started to move and did it all over agian until we got what we wanted.

If it settles anymore its no big deal . I did it to see if I liked the look . Now I can start to save some cash to do it the right way.
