swaping parts.

If anyone has been following my past post i have a few questions. will all body parts i.e doors and such all replace eachothers? from 73-87?

This is a loaded question fenders are 73-80 & 81-87 split. The Doors are all PRETTYMUCH the same and will interchange. the beds work all years but you have to watch for gas filler doors changes which is easy to overcome. without you asking for specifics it is a tough question to answer. DAVE

uhh on cabs if im not mistajen the tranny hump is different size. overall, you can take any 2wd frame and put any year on it if its 2wd parts; not sure on 4x4 interchangeability as transfer case changed at some point

Well what i wanted to know was can you take a 82 4x4 frame and put on a 80 cab and a 85 bed all off a 4x4 truck?

should be able to do that, depending on your front fenders. if you have 81-87 fenders and want to use 80 cab, I THINK, but not sure, that you have to change the front clip, but since you obviously have stuff from both 73-80 and 81-87, that shouldnt be a big deal.
