balljoint?
what the safest way to get them out without messing them up. i heard somthing about using a freezer. any idea would be great thanks.

Freezer trick is for putting them in. Why do you need to get them out?

you hit the side of the spindle where the ball joint enters. hit it hard prying the arm away at the same time. it will fall out. hope that is under standable.its like squeezing a bar of soap out of your hand.

A pickle fork beat between the spindle and the balljoint will screw the joint up. I made a screwjack from a 1/2" finethread nut and bolt and a short chunk of 1/2" ID pipe to push out the balljoints one-at-a-time. This is done by loosening one balljoint nut, inserting the jack between both balljoints, and unscrewing the screwjack until the joint(s) pop loose. Make sure the nut is left on, or you'll get a BIG surprise!
