For Sale - 1969 C/10 - 396/TH400!

1969 Chevy 1/2 ton, originally long bed step side. The bed itself is pretty nice as flatbeds go, two custom locking boxes on the side and very solid steel frame.

396/TH400 with a 12 bolt posi (3.08 gears). Transmission has a mild shift kit, and motor was rebuilt about 25,000 miles ago as well as the heads. Has a mild cam, new spark plugs and Accel 8.8mm spark plug wires. Very fast truck!

Starts up right away and runs great. Edlebrock aluminum intake, 1" spacer with a recently rebuilt Carter 650 (electric choke). Had a Holley 600cfm on it, will include that also. Optima 850cca battery, just changed the oil and filter as well as fuel filter about 2,000 miles ago. New "new style" alternator, Dual 3" exhaust all the way back with Dynomax glasspacks and 4" slash cut chrome tips, sounds great and not too loud.

Interior is in great shape, brand new seat and carpet, Grant steering wheel, CD player, 2 6 1/2" in doors. Aftermarket oil pressure and ammeter (needs temp guage).

Rust in the driver side door and on the drip rails. Solid floors, cab corners, no leaky window, etc. Small chip in the windshield, but all other glass is in good shape. Body is pretty solid, no major dings or dents. Recently buffed and waxed, shines nice in the sun. Low optioned truck, no AC. Heater works great as do all the other electrics.

15x8" Weld wheels on 31x10.50 BFG All-Terrains. Will need to be replaced fairly soon, but the wheels are about 6 months old and are in brand new shape.

Lots of potential, toss a bed on it or use it as a workhorse.

I hate to sell it, but I am going into the Air Force.

Asking $2500obo.

Must sell, so make me an offer!

Email me at roshambo@earthlink.net if interested. I can also email any specific pics as well as video of the truck running.

More pics here!

Thanks for looking!

Very nice looking Rig, especially from Oregon, which is usually prone to rust.

I'm down on the coast near Bandon right on HWY 101, about 5 hours from Portland.

Nah, the box in front of the rear tires just makes it look shorter.
