73-78 stepside bed
does anybody know where is the best place to get a stepside bed, or pieces to replace it. After I tore apart the wooden floor I have come to the conclusion that I opened a can of worms, anyone that might have the sides, fenders, the front, or even the frame supports, or maybe you know a guy, who knows a guy whom is married to his sisters neighbor, anything would help, thanks all!!!

well, LMC sells EVERYTHING you would need for it www.lmctruck.com but their prices are high. www.chevyduty.com has most everything and they have great prices. Also www.classicindustries.com has a very good catalog you can download or buy for like 5 bucks, and they have everything you need too.
i feel your pain brother. I'm dreading come spring or so when i go to redo my entire bed. I've been keeping my eye out for a teppie parts truck to buy and take the bed off of it, but bedwood im gonna get from Chevy duty, as they have great prices. You don't wanna see the wood (or lack thereof) in Red.

I got a front panel with the bowtie in it from http://www.mar-k.com very high quality stuff made in da USA.....If your gonna replace this stuff don't skimp spend the money and do it once. The stuff LMC sells is overseas junk. If you have to.....Buy it one panel at a time untill you have every thing you need.

i speak from experience, go with www.mar-k.com get a catalog and you'll be in heaven. I picked up a ton of stuff from them:
roll pan polished s/s bed strips polished s/s angle strips polished s/s bed hardware polished s/s front panel hardware i've done a lot of business w/ them and highly recommend. (i also do business w/ LMC and chevyduty, which are great sources for parts, but when it comes to truck beds, mar-k is #1) |
