58/59 fenders wanted
Anyone have a nice set of used 58/59 fenders they would like to sell? If not , I will have to dig deep into the ol pockets for a set of fiberglass repro that are over $1000/pair. OUCH!!!

Why not reproduction steel?
Scott's in Penhold sold me my set for $1100. What about the set your pit boss was looking at under "58 GMC truck parts wanted" http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=118544 I have a set, asking $200. Go to the link in my signature and click on fenders.

Do you have a pic of them now? Just curious how much work is required to make them straight and true again. But judging from the pics, I would say that those fenders will be sold!! They are in WAY better shape than the ones on the truck. That's $200 each or for the pair?

Price
I guess maybe it should have been $200 each, but I just want $200 for the pair.
They have been sandblasted now and I think I have a couple of pictures at home, but not digital. I might try scanning them and posting.

Yeah I have been in contact with Seon about it. If it was at all feasable, it would be on it's way to me right now. But the exchange rate along with shipping would come to a total of over $1000, and all I need are the fenders. For $1000 I could buy repro ones. So price wise for me it just can't work

northergmc...I'm still very interested in your fenders. I was just wondering if you had any pics of them after you sand blasted them!

I was hoping to scan a couple of photos this weekend, but I seem to be very busy painting a bedroom.
I will try and get them scanned between coats, probably tomorrow though.

Dubie, did you notice on the right fender that there are some small dents between the fender opening and the front?

I can't seem to see them on my screen here. My monitor sucks at the shop. Are they very deep? or can they be easily worked out and filled?

I'm not a bodyman, but I don't think they are a major concern.
Take another look at then before sandblasting (link in my signature).

They look good to us. The dents look to be pretty minor. Whats the best way to ship out of Fort Smith? Maybe Bus?? what trucking companies deliver into there?
