New Buckets

Well new to me anyway. Didn't sell old yellow so I am getting her back in shape to go back to my daily driver. I pulled the carpet and welded the floorbard holes.
Layed down some padding and reinstalled the carpet.put in a new carpeted gas tank cover. Then I installed some buckets. Got tired of the old saggy bunch seat and saddle blanket. Should be much quieter and warmer. And hopefully much more comfortable to drive. Most of my othter trucks have buckets and really got used to the cupholder and spot to put the phone in the center console. Still have to pull center console back out and repaint a little darker brown but at least she's back together.
heres before and after pics

Did you have to fab up those brackets or were they already attached to the seats?

The seats came out of a 89 0r 90 legend. Not sure who makes that? Maybe accura? I had to bend the brakets for the seat mounts. Was only able to use the outside front hole. Had to drill the rest

Is that an original yellow truck? Could you post a pic of the outside? I am looking for a new color to paint my GMC (is ugly faded gold) and am interested to see what an original yellow looks like.
Thanks.

Solver,

Those buckets look great in your truck! I really like the truck too. Nice! I think I'll be on the look out for some of those for mine too.

HeavyD asks:

"Is that an original yellow truck? Could you post a pic of the outside? I am looking for a new color to paint my GMC (is ugly faded gold) and am interested to see what an original yellow looks like."

Here is a pic of the dash in my 71 Chevrolet. It is the original yellow. I don't know the correct name of the color, but he glovebox sticker says: 545 White/Light Yellow.

SLS has attached this image:

Here is all that was left of the exterior paint when I took possession of the poor old truck...

SLS has attached this heartbreaking picture:
