yeah i figure it'd have to be same length and tail splien of a th350 or 2004r.
i had one out of a 79 caprice last year i used to have and i swear it was short 350 length and all, just wasnt positive just recently.
dopesnt matter that its not as built as any other auto was, it will work though, i dont have any th350,l and plus this oe is remanufactured


that site link you provided is a good one,. interesting info on the TH325-4L
and did not know were three lengths of th400, thought were only two, 34 and 29.... hmmm.... have had one of each at least but not of whatever the third is...
hmmmm.....

thanks guys, i need to yank the trans am drivetrain out and get that tranny ready for the 71 truck sometimes soon then,.
