Cool Spindles - TXFire?????

This is for anyone...but TX you had mentioned in one of my early posts that I would be better off buying Summit brand or Belltech Spindles cause they are cheaper that Early Classics.

These are the prices that I found
These spindles all fit 73-87 Chevy C-10 2x4 with 1.25" Rotors
Summit Racing Online Catalog:

Belltech 3" Drop for 1.25" Rotors: $280
Summit 2" Drop for 1.25" Rotors: $250
DJM Brand 3" Drop for 1.25" Rotors: $220

EarlyClassic (on Website) 2.5" Drop for 1.25Rotors: $200
EarlyClassic (in ECE's Book) - $220
And Early Classic states a lifetime garuntee.

So what do I go with?
what about DJM - are they any good - cause they seem like the most drop for the cheapest

I think I'm going to stick with ECE just so I can order all my rear springs and panhard thru them too.

let me know what you guys think

Sounds like a good idea.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

I have run quit a few sets of DJM spindles. The quality is just as good as any other brand out there. Stay away from AIM/Chassis Tech....

Wow, Summit has hiked the price lately.

I'd go with ECE then. I've used 2 sets of their spindles with great success. When I ordered my stuff for my 70, ECE cut me a big discount on shipping because I ordered the whole list of stuff from them at one time.

Just stay away from the bargain places like AIM or Chassis Tech, or whatever name they're using this week.

Thanks guys

Yeh Summit has hiked the prices on more than just that stuff.
I ordered a set of pistons for my bigblock and the next catalog that came out they were almost $40 more than what i paid for them....

so i don't know what is going on with summit..maybe time to start working with jegs for the go fast goodies

My spindles are from DJM. They seem like good pieces.
