in photoshop 7, how do you lower the truck i know zumo did this and he uses photoshop....also how do you paint the truck without messing with the body lines and shading..

The best thing to do is to get a side shot of the truck, then you cut just the truck out using the lasso tool or using the extract feature in photoshop. Then, nudge the cut out selection down to where you want it. Make sure you dont cut out he wheels, so when you nudge it the body of the truck moves, and not the wheels and tires. To change the paint job, you select the truck and go to edit>adjust>varitations... There are many other ways of doing it but that is probably the easiest. That will keep the lines, shading and everything. If you need me to do it I can do it real fast if you give me a side shot of the truck.

Hi......there is a much better way than using the lasso tool in photoshop. Use the pen tool to create anchor points. Get in close to the image and start laying points around it..a line will connect all the points. To really get a good selection, around curves you can left click and hold it down and the line will arc. When you release it hold down the alt button and click the center dot which picks up the path from the center. When you work around back to the beginning click on the first point you laid and it will form a gray line around the truck, from here go to paths (you can get to it by going to windows>show paths) When the path window opens it will show your work path that you formed and on the bottom of the path workbox you will see some symbols , a black circle, outilined white circle and a dotted line circle....left click on the path in the box and drag it to the dotted circle and it will turn the solid line you produced in your image into a selection. Variations is prob the easiest way for you change the color of the truck and still keep higlights and reflections...etc...located in Image/adjust/variations. This will give you the most accurate and best selection possible.
