Turbo 400 wouldn't be original in the 4x4. Are you sure it wasn't a TH350? Sounds promising to me. There aren't many around this part of the woods.

If this is a chevy (not GMC),
there were 10066 1971 3/4 ton long fleetside 4x4 made. (assuming it is a fleetside). If it were a long step 4x4, there were only 674.

There is a posting in the FAQ section that shows production numbers.... Look for
"1967-1972 Chevy Truck/Blazer/Burb/Panel Production Numbers" posting....

yeah it was a TH 350 and the 350ci was mounted in the correct location.. ALSO this truck had leaf springs vs coils.. it did have the white steel wheels, and the CST chrome trim around the vent window assemblies, and sliding rear glass... the body is pretty rough though, still good for a log truck, but still fairly rough... all glass is good too... but it thought since it was a leaf spring chassis w/orig trasfer case and axles with disc brakes, along with the custom camper options it may be something worth pickin up sometime inthe future... thanks for the replys...

ALSO this truck had leaf springs vs coils
All GM 4x4's manufactured from 67 to 72 had rear leafs, the only coils for the rear that you will see on 4 wheel drive trucks were converted.

If it is original then the VIN will have a K in it.

You can check the glove box option sheet for options the truck originally came with.

If it is original and cheap ( a couple hundred $) and you have the place to store it then Yes.

Take some pics and post them to see what the interest is either whole or parts.

The custom camper package is nothing more than HD springs or overload springs, a sway bar up front, and special tires.
