Talking No pics but check out my latest steal

I went to Pick and Pull in San Antonio about three weeks ago to see if there were any 67-72 parts out there. Really needed a door and was going to scavenge whatever else I could find. Left empty handed but had found a radiator core support that I thought I might want. Didn't see any decent doors

To make a long story short...I got a chance to go back for the core support and low and behold it was half price day at Pick n Pull. Also found an door that I had previously overlooked.

Here is my hall:

71 Chevy radiator core support - 13.00
67 Right side door complete, only surface rust 16.00
67 Glove Box door, no dents 3.12
71 Hood latch mechanism free
71 Voltage regulator 2.50

Had to pay 6 bucks in core charges but I am happy as a clam

Dang man! Nice job!

I've been to Pick n Pull in SA and didn't see anything 67-72 related. They get a new batch in or am I blind?

You should be happy as a clam. The core support was worth more than you paid for all of it if it is rust free!

T.O.W., No man no knew stuff. I knew where the core support was. Get this. It was already more than half off the truck. I removed about 7 bolts total from the drivers side and front corner and had it in my hot little hands. Has very light surface rust only in a couple of places and it will clean up nice. Great replacement for the one I got that is rusted away to nothing on the right side. The door came from a 67 step that was behind and one truck over from this one. Don't know how I missed it on the previous trip but I am glad I did. The interior handles and all the rubber needs replacing of course but the windows are there and rust that is just beginning to pit on the bottom inside panel. I will need to rework the regulators too but the outside door handle is mint. Got the glove box out of this truck too. Not sure why nobody else took it. It was completely off the the dash and sitting in the floorboard without a scratch on it.
