Water leaks in cabin - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Just got my '72 C10 short bed. It has minimal rust. The only place is inside the cabin by the kick panels (corners). My question you you guys is, where are the most common places that water gets into the cab. I'll have to replace a couple of panels, but I want to stop the leak(s) first..

antenna hole .. might check that

Mine was through the windshield glass weatherstripping, through the heater box and through the vents in the kick panels which I believe was do to the rusted out pinch weld area on the firewall (if you don't count the fiberglassed floorboards the PO installed).

Take a slow running water hose and start up the side of the truck slowly with somebody watching inside until they see water coming in.

I have some leakage too, on the sides it appears. My drip rails sealant is all cracked, could water be filtering in through there?
